Marie Lordkipanidzé completed her training in pharmacy at Université de Montréal in 2004. Then she completed a Master degree and a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences at Université de Montréal in 2010. Her thesis about variability in the response to antiplatelet drugs has been ranked within the 5 best percentile ranks and merited a distinction on the Dean’s Honour List of the faculty of graduate studies of Université de Montréal. She continued her postdoctoral training at Université of Birmingham, in the United Kingdom, where she distinguished and set herself up as an expert in the field of platelet function. Dr. Lordkipanidzé sits on the editorial board of the specialized journal « Platelets », she is a co-leader of the Capacity Generation committee within the Canadian Vascular Network of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), she is regularly invited to present in national and international congresses, and she authored more than 50 articles and book chapters.
