Albert is a very active young scientist. A lover of soccer, snowboarding and martial arts, he also enjoys spending time with friends playing pool or foosball. During a research internship, Albert discovered the Montreal Heart Institute and its Research Centre along with its motivating and stimulating team.
For him, the MHI Research Centre is a technological environment that provides students with excellent support and resources. Its scientific days and conferences in addition to student scholarships make the MHI a go-to choice for educational experiences.
At 28 years old, Eduardo is a young father who has accomplished much in both his personal and professional life. He has worked at the MHI since 2007 and really loves his job, because when he's surrounded by his co-workers, he feels like he's with family!
The versatility and independence he needs to be a respiratory therapist motivates him and makes his everyday work stimulating. His flexible schedule also gives him time for recreation... and his family!
Watch the videoAfter working in Haiti on all kinds of projects, such as the construction of schools, wells and agricultural co-ops, Jeanne-Sophie decided to become a nurse and found her calling at the MHI. Whether in emergency, intensive care, coronary care or research, this nurse has tackled multiple challenges since arriving in 2012. Dedicated and versatile, she has supervised many trainees, is part of the union, and is a member of the Council of Nurses.

With two young athletes and an adorable daughter at home, Julie is both a devoted mother and physiotherapist who is dedicated to her patients. The MHI day care really makes it easier for her to manage her hectic schedule.
When at work, she finds the energy she needs to fully focus on her patients during the day. The MHI's big family makes it an incredible place to work!

One reason she came to live in Quebec was the MHI's international reputation. She has found a second home at the Institute, where she plays a key role on the Council of Nurses. She has multiple passions: art, belly dancing, travel, swimming, music, film, good food, good wine and, of course, her work!
What she likes most about the MHI: the work atmosphere at this hospital, where everyone has a role to play. Her co-workers say that she is a true ray of sunshine.
